Steamed White Fish
Ingredients
- Thin White Fish Fillet (e.g. Cod, Flounder)
- Salt
- Sugar
- Soy Sauce
- Water
- Canola Oil
- Finely Chopped Scallion
- Finely Chopped Ginger
Steps
- Place the white fish on a plate
- Sprinkle the fish with salt, scallion, ginger, and canola oil
- Add a little of water to the plate to ease cooking
- Steam the fish for a few minutes (fish is done when it easily flakes)
- Remove excess water
- Add soy sauce and a sprinkle of sugar on top of the fish
