Dumplings
Ingredients
- Napa cabbage
- Ground pork
- Canola Oil
- Shrimp
- Garlic
- White Pepper
- Salt
- Sesame Oil
- Dumpling Wrapper
Cooking Steps
- Cut the shrimp into small chunks
- Add canola oil to wok and cook shrimp and take out into a bowl.
- Cook ground pork. Season with garlic, white pepper, salt, sesame oil.
- Add shredded napa cabbage.
- Add water and close lid.
- Take out into separate bowl once done.
- Combine the shrimp into this bowl as well.
- Crack raw egg into bowl and mix well. This will be used as the filling.
Wrapping
- Tip: Use a moist paper towel to keep the Dumpling Wrapper from drying out.
- Tip: You can freeze the wrapped dumplings (prior to frying) to store it for future consumption. Be sure to store the rolls in separate bags or wrappers, otherwise the skins will stick to each other. After freezing, you can defrost and resume with the frying step.
- Place filling in center of wrapper.
- Fold wrapper in half, using folds or a fork to seal it.
Pan Frying
- Add a little canola oil to the pan.
- Pan fry until golden brown.
